To use a TomTom Itinerary file with waypoints do the following:

TomTom Config (One time only):

1. Start by going into "Change Preferences"
2. Select "Planning Preferences"
3. Select "Ask me everytime I plan"

This will allow the Planning preferences menu to appear when the itinerary file is loaded. Always choose "Shortest Route" and "Avoid Dirt Roads" if that one appears.

To run the Itinerary file do the following:

1. Click on "Itinerary Planning"
2. Click on "Options"
3. Click on "Load Itinerary:"
4. Your itinerary you loaded should appear in the list.  Click on it to select it:
5. You now see your waypoints.  Click on DONE.
6. Select "Shortest Route"
7. Click YES on the Destination confirmation screen and you are on your way!!
